many of south koreas festivals revlove around the moon they include the solar new year the first day of the new year for the moon also called seollal. Childrens day is a day dedicated to South koreas children they have the day off school and their parents take them to theme parks and zoos to celebrate. Also their is Chuseok otherwise known as South koreas thanksgiving and harvest during this time people will perform special ceremonies and visit their ancesteral homes.
